What is the HRC London trade show?
The HRC describes their trade show as “the destination to experience product innovation” - and has welcomed thousands of visitors annually for over 80 years to “test, taste and discover” the most innovative products in the hospitality industry. Over the course of three days, the HRC will give over 1500 professional suppliers the space to showcase their businesses and services - from food and drink to state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, stylish decor and industry-leading technology.
The show will also host International Salon Culinaire’s prestigious cooking competition, facilitate networking sessions, and offer business advice and industry expertise from Ask The Experts panels. Among the many industry professionals on the panel this year is Kimberly Hurd, the Chief Revenue Officer for Collective Benefits - our partner to support your finances and insurance - and JP Then - the founder of Crosstown, the award-winning doughnut suppliers, and Slerp, the online ordering service which won the Restaurant Marketer & Innovator award in 2023, as well as the Community award in 2022 from Mayfair & St. James’.
Hear from the experts
Both the Vision and Tech X stages will return to the HRC show this year and will feature three days of seminars from the industry’s most insightful minds. The Tech X stage will discuss how crucial technology is today as a means of helping businesses reach their customers. Hospitality tech is one of the fastest-growing components in the industry, and these seminars will welcome experts to explain the latest trends in hospitality tech and product innovations that are going to ensure that businesses grow and evolve. The Tech X stage will focus on how technology is going to shape the future of the hospitality industry, from advanced analysis data to sustainable tech and even a discussion on how businesses can utilise technology, including AI and robotics, to increase people retention. View the seminar programme here.
On The Vision Stage you can expect to be educated on the most pressing issues impacting the hospitality industry. As HRC says, “hear from leading key-note speakers from across all areas of our dynamic industry. Expect to watch inspiring presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions and engaging Q&As.” Topics this year include “The future of food service”, “building the restaurant of the future,” and Brigad’s CEO Florent Malbranche will be giving a talk on “how technology can help the industry recover from the staffing shortage.” You can hear Florent on Tuesday 21 March from 3.30 pm to 4 pm as he proposes a discussion on how Brigad can offer support as the industry begins to recover from the staffing shortage and help businesses find temporary workers through engaging with the Brigad community - a network of 10,000 highly skilled self-employed professionals, experienced in a variety of roles across the industry. The entire programme for talks on the Vision Stage can be found here.
